NOTE:  We are flexible with the schedule should you need to rearrange some of the days.

Friday:
The Excitement Begins
Student of the Week folder comes home
Complete the “All About Me” poster
Write in the weekend journal
Pick and practice a science experiment to conduct
Pick and practice reading a favorite book you will share (It may be a picture book or a chapter out of a longer book)

Monday:
Getting to Know You
Student of the Week folder is to be returned
Share poster and weekend journal with classmates
Practice science experiment at home (for Wednesday)
Practice reading book at home (for Friday)

Tuesday:
Compliment Day
Students in class will write a letter to you
A book will be made for you from the letters
Practice science experiment at home (for Wednesday)
Practice reading book at home (for Friday)

Wednesday:
Mad Scientist
Science experiment will be conducted in class (parents may come in and assist if needed or desired)
Practice reading book at home (for Friday)

Thursday:
Share Day
Favorite item can be brought to school
Practice reading book at home (for Friday)

Friday:
Story Time
Share book from home with class
Compliment letter book will be sent home
